Is there any way to get detailed FW occupancy via the API?

I know that you can get information about which faction owns a specific system, and whether it is contested or not. But that information doesn't give an accurate picture, it doesn't tell me how far contested a system is, there is a huge difference between 1% contested and 99% contested.

I've no experience with developing against the EVE API, am I missing something here or is this information just not available?

That one doesn't give any details, you can't see how far contested a system is, only who it currently belongs to.
