How to keep aggro away from the drones?

I read that keeping EWAR on one of the frigates (web, TP) will keep the aggro on you and you can keep the drones out safely as long as you get enough initial aggro.

Does a medium nos works as well? Its easier for me to fit a high slot than lose a mid-slot on my BS.

So far I have been using a nos, but my drones do get eaten in 1-2 seconds sometimes (thats from 2 NPC frigates, which is insanely stupid), so I'm not sure if I'm doing it right.

Doubt a NOS will work, it will need to be paint, ecm or web. It will also not keep them permanently away from your drones. Best you can do is have good skills, ie drone durability and only use them close when NPC are close, and also don't leave them floating about, pull them back when not used.

If you have an open high slot, fit some light RR and remote rep your drones. That usually generates a lot of aggro from what I have seen (my Logi usually grabs all aggro as soon as I start RRing but loses it again a minute or two later).
