need drone region advice

I recently joined a comp based in drone region null sec space. I'm looming for advice on what to fly to be able to run hordes. Currently I'm sitting on 12.5 mil so most in caldari and shields/ missiles. I can fly up to the tengu and things like the raven. I've tried the raven lost one and bought another and got the hang of the fit I have but seems like I'm killing stuff slot slower than my Drake. In a few days I'll be able to fly up to a bs in all races with t2 shield fits. Now what do u guys recommend I look into training into or using now to boost island per hour?
