how do you get rid of a bounty on your character?

Mostly Correct: "The 20% payout is based on the loss value of the kill report,"

The payout of the bounty is based on 20% of the average market value of what was lost.

No, but the salvage is not counted. Ive heard some T2 ships can drop sufficient juicy salvage its almost cost effective to self destruct them. In which case they make great bounty clearing sacrificial ships.

Buy a lot of Rifters and head to null sec. Fit them so they are worth like 10 mill each. You will have lots of fun! That way you are having fun while you lower your bounty.

Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.

Or just fit them to go out and pvp for fun.

This is the bet way to get rid of a bounty. It's on you, use it as a reason to get rid of it and learn about shooting at other players. You might even blow someone up that has a bounty on them.

145,000,000 isk bounties for asking the guy who ganked my exhumer why? (since he never came back to get the stuff I had)
