PC question: Streaming to a TV?

Hi,

I've got a nice rig to play EVE on, but in another room I've got a nice TV as well I'd like to watch EVE on.
Running a HDMI cable between the PC & TV is out of the question, but both are hooked up to local gigabit ethernet.

The PC I'm streaming from is powerful enough to record/transcode on the side, and is running PS3 Media Server already.

The TV does 1080p and supports DNLA, and also has a PS3 hooked up, and a Raspberry Pi (running XBMC)

Can anyone of you recommend some software that makes it all work?

Cheers for that, although Twonky doesn't allow me to capture my desktop to a stream.
I've tried using VLC for that - but that seems to crash every time I try to set up a capturing stream.

Try Windows Media Encoder 9. It was made for Xp, I think, but it still should work. Does capture, compression, streaming out. Has a wizard to guide you step by step to setup your capture/stream. It is free. I know MS replaced it with something else, but I don't know what off hand. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Media_Encoder

VLC is nice, but setting up can be intimidating and your's is crashing anyway.
