This makes probing almost impossible. I cannot zoom in to a set of probes so that I can properly place them for getting a BM to what I am localizing.

This needs fixing ASAP! I'm surprised people in WS aren't screaming already.

I tried this on Mac OS X !0.8 and Windows Pro 7 64-bit.

The status says: By Design.

Does that mean it is intentional? If so, how am I supposed to get close and zoom in on a signature so I can get it to 100%?!?!

I need help please.

Edit: Okay, I see now. Right-click and move. Yeah, now I can zoom in anyplace on the map, but guess what? That is clumsy beyond words. Thank you CCP for, once again, taking something which is not broken, and fixing it. Nobody does that better.

When I lived in WS I had probing down to a science. I am SO glad I am not there now. This would double the time I used to spend finding an exit.

This could be modified slightly to work decently if the center of my screen were marked. Then I could move the map so a sig was in the center pretty easily. It would still take 2 steps to center in 3 dimensions though. Grr.

Yes i cannot probe anymore, when it gets less than 4 au is practically impossible to center on the probes, and right click to do that it works randomly most of the time taking them off screen than i have to zoom back to find the probes.

I found out the hard way that double click is centering on probes, either i did not read the patch notes
well either this change was not specified.

Confirming this works...not sure why this change was kept a secret from us.

i filed a bug report and everything too, till someone told me to double click, i never read anything about it in the patch notes...
