Probably as many as signed it after CCP had already acknowledged they were working on the fix and it had been intended to be persistent all along.

Well, if CCP has said "we are leaving this non-persistent and will see what the response is" then a petition is good.

If CCP said (which they did) yes we are aware it is not persistent. we intended it to be persistent but due to technical issues that functionality didn't make it into the release. However we are working on it. Then a petition is pretty much useless.

But hey, pat yourselves on the back for 5 pages of "fix this!" I'm sure CCP looked at it and went "OH **** we'd better get cracking" vs. "yea yea whatever we are already working on it".
