guys: soundcloud. If you want the in-game music with jukebox control, turn off the in-game music, load up the soundcloud and have fun.

That's why they uploaded it - for precisely that reason.

Not interested in registering and using soundcloud. I already have too many accounts to remember.

So if the environmental music playing gets repetitive, then I guess the music just gets turned off.

I dont wanna always change process and listening eve online music on my mp3 player or youtube or soundcloud... Beceause of this being a function in eve online, the jukebox... Everything at one place....

Anyone wrote we play for a while, CCP should be understand most of us played many years, we live with these musics day by day, its connecting the gameplay , and now everything what we loved just gone... The music as everyone know one of important part of the gameplay.... Why we like listen for example metal for PVP or trance or whateva.... Not just one of tiny thing. The gameplay music give many things for how we feel ourself during we play....

We wanna choose that which one music we would like to listening.... I hope CCP is understanding this....

So i am really angry now because of this " remove jukebox cpp idea " things....

Bring back JUKEBOX, bring back please..... f*** :///

A competition for player made music would be welcomed. CCP could you make this happen? Winner(s) have their tracks added to the default eve music library? Something.

I'm looking into either to add a checkbox to make the music stop or when the slider goes to 0.0 that the the music system will also stop.

How about the option of adding, you know, music to the music.

Yours flying in space to the sound of Alicia De Larocha; simply breathtaking.

Not a fan of the "music", I can respect that.

I don't like music all that much myself. Big smile

Try running 2 clients in windowed mode. Keep another minimized when you don't use it. Fix the sound effects and music so, that only important stuff like auto pilot notifications, warp/jump sounds, guns and warnings come from 2nd client when it is minimized. Ambient stuff and music has to be muted!

Currently only real way to play with multible clients is to disable (turn volume to 0) music/audio from all.

Get classic forum style - custom videos to captains quarters screen

Play with the best - die like the rest

Kinda with everyone here. Liked having control of what music I heard in the game, had lots of playlists set up to get through the day without being bored... now left to the mercy of the shuffle option in media player because having to keep tabbing out to change the music all the time will get really old really fast.

Why remove a perfectly working UI function that's been in the game since forever all of a sudden? You may as well stop creating new tunes for the login screens for new expansions since the majority of players will have the in-game music turned off.

Doubt it.

Turn the slider for music down down down. I did that on my 2nd day in eve. Never slid to the right again..

I love the Eve Music that RealX made.

Happy enough to admit to having bought the album from iTunes a while back. I'd been stuck in hospital for a while (no Eve arrrgh), hospital as people will know is not a quiet environment. I purchased it and listened to it constantly - helped me sleep as well. So I'm sorry to see the juke box gone.

When I'm PvE'ing these days, I listen to music from iTunes or spotify. Still I'm always a bit peeved when I see a feature removed from the game, I understand why CCP have taken it out if they are trying to get the music to match in game events. But please couldn't we have had it left in there.

Check box for removing ambient / event music, and let us play the tracks we want? Thanks for the great music RealX.

Maybe they had metrics that showed very little use...

I can live with the Jukebox going away. I mean, I did enjoy using it but if it has to go, fine.

But as someone who likes to play EVE fullscreen and does not own a second monitor, it would be appreciated if in the future you guys included a substitute. Such as, an interface to control one or more common media players? Maybe even get someone to support flash in the EVE browser so I could set up a playlist somewhere, open the browser and play my music.

Or better yet, HTML5 support for the multimedia tags. Doesn't the EVE browser use some variation of Chromium as its backend? It seems like it wouldn't be too difficult to accomplish that considering.

I guess for now I'll just grumble my way through it, fire up foobar2000 and let loose my playlist of EVE music.

Ugh

Over the times, ive seen much clamor for certain features to be added or removed, but personally never noticed any kind of REMOVE THE JUKEBOX OR I UNSUB 7 ACCTS posts.

I can.. sort of.. understand the direction intended by this but it is a step back. Whereas once we had playlists, easy access to ingame music of CCP or mp3 origin, there is none now. And the keyboard shortcut for "Jukebox" window is still in the Windows settings.

Random, half-baked move in an otherwise very enjoyable expansion.

I'm absolutely loving the new randomized tunes playing, I hope its going to be expanded on soon with the different races / hi / lowsec.
A couple of checkboxes / sliders to customize the experience a bit wouldn't go amiss (the music playing in combat complexes is a bit meh.. tbh) but yeah, loving it. Hope it stays and gets expanded.

Sad

It's not that I don't like the music, having it play on 4 clients simultaneously is a bit weird though ;)

That's my problem too.

I would actually prefer to leave the music on, if the program was smart enough to only play the music when in the foreground. Multiboxing gets pretty messy with the music on.

The only end-game content in EVE Online is the crap that makes you rage quit.
