yesterday lvl.4 missions were doable solo - this afternoon... something changed and now me and a buddy of mine can't seem to go through them like I was able to just yesterday... its a bit too much of a buffer if you ask me... If this is what I will have to look forward to just to get a jump clone I'm gonna be really dissapointed. we were there for almost an hour with just 3 of five expected waves of baddies... anyone else having the same issue?

Just did a mission blitz run with a friend. completed 12 lvl4 missions in a little over 1-1/2 hours. took a few bio, drink, and chat breaks but didn't notice the missions being harder.

Had a noctis following us that wasn't able to keep up so I would say your problem could be local. You wouldn't happen to be in an incursion area?

Things that keep me up at night;  Why do we use a voice communication device to send telegraphs? Moore's Law should state, Once you have paid off the last PC upgrade you will need another.

running through another set right now.... I'm doing just fine by myself... I was wondering if the difficulty is added if you fleet prior to adding a mission just for the sake it of as I'm not running into any problems going solo atm... probably just a glitch perhaps

Missions don't change if you fleet. May have just been a bad day at the office.

Depending on what the mission is sometimes the spawns can change for example instead of Sansha Overlord it will spawn a Tyrant instead (which deals more dmg, Blockade does this you may get Faction Spawn as well). Also was there a difference in tank, speed, transversal, and etc all those things are factors.

I wish CCP would put a scaling option for combat ships like if you have a friend or 2 doing them with you that makes the ships bounty worth more, difficulty a little bit harder, better loot/salvage (not game breaking better just slightly). There would be cap limit (number of pilots) on the scaling of course.

But when I do it makes the Blue's rage, lol.

Different missions by the same agent can sometimes have different rat types... perhaps you're just not using the right ammo?

I just did Lvl 4 Vengeance (vs Sanshas) and got full room agro right at the start in the first room without moving or shooting (no drones out either), Paladin made it out in low armor luckily. You used to get auto agro from just 1 or 2 of the 5 groups in this room before the patch, its now only doable solo with multiple warp outs and is very slow and painful due to all the elite TD rats agroing at the start.

a friend of mine had a lot of dificulties to farm missions this day.
He Nearly losing his BS several times because of multiple aggro.
For example, entry mission, aggro the whole pocket without doing anything. It is now almost impossible to absorb the dps of the entiere pockets.
Warp in.... multiple aggro.... web.... scramble..... too much dps..... dead.
In short, it is surprising, warp in and warp out every 30 seconds it's not very fun!
It's not like that for all the missions, but beware if you do not want to lose your ship ....

Didn't try myself, i will try in few hours but i'm afraid to lost my machariel in a silly L4 mission Evil
Yeap, in fleet seems to be oki but when i prefer play in solo..... what i have to do?

I'm having problems with the larger L4 mission tonight where I'm getting full aggro like Gotherb is upon warp in.

It's not a problem on most missions but i will give you a couple of examples where I struggled badly.

Assualt L4 against Serpentis - I counted 8 damps in the first pocket which put my max locking range down to 11km, got scrammed, almost lost it and not very good for a ship that throws out 1100 DPS.

Storyline - Shipyard theft, Level 4 -- Instant full aggro, my guess about 1500DPS incoming

It seems a bit OTT for solo

I've encountered a few these myself post patch but I usually pull full room aggro on Pirate Invasion anyways just to keep drones alive (pre-patch). Seems post patch that they have messed up the script on the missions when adding in the new aggro tables and had lost the triggers somewhere. Hopefully they'll fix it soon.

I almost got my ass handed to me in Worlds Collide, a mission I otherwise thought of to be easy. For some reason in the first pocket the frigates only scrammed for one cycle, otherwise my machariel would be history.

I guess the best thing to do is to stay clear of missions which have enemy groups that *should* aggro individually because they just seem to ignore this at the moment.

I experienced the same thing with npc aggresion in worlds collide. Immediately after warping my vargur into 3rd pocket I got the full aggro (even only usual group of 2bs + 3 hacs was close to me).

It was pretty fun, I had to overheat my guns, hardeners and shield booster to survive and Im sure my mach/nightmare/pally wouldnt survive in that situation (there were around 8 frigs and half of them were pointing me). I guess its over with blitzing wc with small pithi b tengu too.

But there is different thing that actually worries me - anyone tried sansha blockade in turret ship after the patch? Not very enjoyable experience.Lol

I agree that the Lv4 missions have got significantly harder. Doing a Rogue Drone missions yesterday, three new waves of drones warped in almost immediatly. Full agro, warp scrambled, 30 seconds later and my previously untouchable Faction BS went POP. Gutted and more than a little surprised.

It's now as annoying as Serpentis Blockade.

You just have to fast lock and volley the crap out of things before they e-war the hell out of you.

When your gut instincts tell you something is wrong, trust them. When your heart tells you something is right, ignore it, check with your brain first. Accept nothing, challenge everything.

Serpentis - approach them and you can lock and kill them.
Sanshas - approach them and you wont hit because of low tracking.

But I wish you best luck "volleying the crap out of them" before spawn of elite cruisers cuts your range from 48+52k to 5+5.5k.Lol

Sounds like you're having a DPS issue, you should easily get 1-2 rounds of fire off before they lock and apply e-war. If not look at your skills, or even consider using a SeBo to increase your lock time. Try Tachyons instead of Pulses too.

You aren't applying damage fast enough to pop them before they've hit you with e-war. I should have just said Damage issue not DPS. Though technically it's DPS within a certain timeframe. Which is the time you have to lock and kill them before they lock and e-war you.

These missions aren't unbeatable, you just need to juggle the fit around. This patch has put a hit on both afk dronemissioners and people who expect one fit to work for everything. I struggle to see the negative here.

Yeah, Im absolutely going to fit sensorboosters to get 1 volley on a group of 6 elite cruisers (each needs at least 2 volleys to destroy) before I get tded to 5+5k by them. Pro advice. Roll

Also where did I say any missions are unbeatable?
