When will this be available for us to download? The graphics are already out...we just need the data now.

Not until it goes live, I'm sure. While we know the stats on some of the new goodies (four dessies, reworked ships, ORE frigate, etc), CCP has said there are other yummy things in store for us, and releasing the dump early would ruin the surprise.

Apparently the data dump is out, just not linked to from the Community page yet.

Made a thread last night on standardizing this. Learning through twitter where the data is probably isn't the best way to put up the export considering we already have a website and a forum that they can post in.

Databasedump is being converted as we speak (not by me, but by expert souls on IRC).
Even though the link to the MSSQL-dump hasn't been posted on the Community Toolkit page yet, PrismX was so kind to share the link on IRC.

For now, please stop complaining about the amount of time is takes for CCP to release the new databasedump, as I can understand a running TQ cluster is more important than a databasedump.

I'm not going to stop complaining about it until they actually give us some info on the process and what we can expect on patch day. Sometimes they put it out 3 days early, other times it comes out all screwed up and has to be fixed.

If they want to support the 3rd party software that this game depends on, they should at least do it with a little more effort IMO.

Then by all means join the IRC channel, where questions are usually instantly answered and some CCP minions run free to steal your cookies. It's the meeting-place for 3rd party developers, where between the lines and lines of code funny stuff happens like putting a bounty on Karbowiak's head to send him to the top of the Most Wanted list.

All I'm saying is that it's your loss if you aren't participating by any means other than the Tech Lab forums.

Don't get me wrong, I do like to see a fixed release schedule on the databasedump, yet if CCP is making last minute changes to the database then why should they release it sooner as people will just start whining about missing content?
