i am not a forum person so forgive me if i post this in the wrong place
i have an idea concerning the command ships

i like the idea where if you fly let's say a vulture, you will give x% of (max) boosts within a sphere of say 30km of the ship, and every 10km beyond that you get a percantage less of the max boosts

this can work well in incursions, mining fleets, low-sec gate fights, roaming fleets and is quite interesting in large fights

As I understand it's something similar to what CCP has in mind anyway and it's a good solution to all of the issues raised against on-grid boosting. This is likely the solution CCP will implement.

do you know how silly this is? a Rapier can get a range of 100km for its web, this would ruin range bonus's, 30km is way shortrange, you must fly gallente ships..

just a though, but its to close range and would give blobs a massive advantage, depending on how much mans you have in other words, the more you stick in that circle the better

i like the idea of nerfing off grid boosters but thats what a booster is really -.- its an alt you stick out to have some bonus you like allot, every fleets needs one
