EVE .
A sandbox .
Pretty much self explanatory.

Currently .... I lack a goal in this game and without a goal in a sandbox , I might as well as call it quits.
People say this is a game which your action will make an impact.
Its pure escapism ,but when I look at it , its almost as mundane as everyday life.
You go to work , you get paid, you dock in station ,its late, you turn off your computer and go to sleep.
Where is the drama?


That reckons the question.
What is your purpose in EvE?

What do you plan to achieve?

I like explosions... and turtles.

So, in the absence of turtles in game I like to make explosions, it's better when they either complain that I had advantage XXX or write gf in local after I make them not not exploded any more.

That and selling stuff to my corp\coalition to fun the aforementioned explosion making.

tl;dr
I like playing with other real people to make different other people explode.

Training.... I luv watching my skills go up... And shiny ships. I have 40 fitted Battleships +15 or so Navy Battleships, 5 Tengus all faction fit and several Golems, Vindicators, etc. I like to fit-refit-strip (the ships) and start over... Fly them? Um no, I suck at PVP. I'd luv to be better though...

Personally I do not have any "long term goal".

I love PvP, I love to fly with my alliance dudes, love to spin and take part in political conflicts and if there is none, I just try to pop as many hostile ships as possible.

There are various goals I've heard from others:

- owning all ships in eve
- get as many titans as possible
- become a diplomat for a large alliance
- being a wtfpwn-lowsec-pirate and live from that income
- ...

Don't be scared, because being afk is not a crime.

My purpose is to make other people's spaceships explode in a manner they did not expect. Shortly followed by mine blowing up because they had the same idea. So it goes.

If your real life involves blowing up lots of spaceships, empire building, espionage, betrayal, fraud, theft and epic epic tears i guess it would seem pretty mundane....

Thats on the grand scheme of things , but to the ducklings of the society , they all just fall in line .
Nothing much to see to be honest.
Shoot who they told you to shoot , mine where they told you to mine, guard the gate they want to be protected.

In the end of the day , its just a tad more numbers in my wallet and a few killmails.
Once you've seen it , you've seen it all to be honest.

The tears?
Never seen it.
Cos I just pod them anyway and they understand its 0.0 and its expected to lose some ships sooner or later.

I guess that's the downside of having an overly-mature community, no more hot blooded drama and war on principles and faith, only on money and power.

No more epic speech like
