A combination of =v=, WH40K & Halo all rolled into one... never-gonna-happen. But it would rock.

The NEX isn't about toys for in the sandbox nor should it ever become that way.

First a large part of the community makes a bit uproar about the hint of gold ammo in NEX stores and CCP get's mails and other internal documents made public by certain people which fuels the uproar.

The fire get's doused after long and hard conversations and emergency meetings but although the fire is doused the ground it festered on still smolderst.

NEX has no and should never have any ingame influence towards, ships, modules, ammo OR characters.
Even the idea of buying remaps for Aurum is an ingame interference for real cash.

If you want toys Miilla I suggest to go to the NEXtdoor "TOYshop" and get yourself some TOY's there.

There will be no gold ammo, however players already get remaps yearly, they just want them more frequently as is/was the plan by using PLEX for remaps, now that changed to be AUR for remaps.

We already have play to win, via PLEX, which is a good thing, now I get to play eve with OTHER numpties paying for my gametime :)

The problem with eve is the amount of time it takes to get anywhere, 30 days training, in other words pay 15 Euros to set a 30 day skill, then bugger off to a competitor product and play it actively, is just plain ridiculous.

Remaps solved a some of that, people make mistakes in mapping, because their gameplay changes. Remaps in NEX will not make a BIG game difference and is not pay to win just as PLEX is not pay to win.

AUR for Remaps in NEX will not cause mass quitting , just as PLEX didn't.

we got past mass rage and now onto acceptance, in fact people now want it.

First it's remaps for AUR, then the other things slowly trickle in.

People with a bigger wallet will get an even bigger advantage over those with smaller wallets.

Remap once per year could be set to remap once per 6 months by CCP. But being able to buy a remap whenever suits someone is utter crap, same as with the rest of EVE one has to live with the choices one makes, this also includes your mapping.

Being able to buy remaps is something which is gamechanging and that is what nobody wanted, so the hypocretes who now call out for paid remaps after yelling loudly for no gmechanging stuff in the NEX store are just a bunch of blindsided idiots who never grasped the reason as why there even was an uproar.

And yes Miilla, for me you are an idiot with a tunnelvision. People like you are the reason that first there are small chnges which trickle into other changes and in the end we still end up with the crap we (including you) protested against.

So pull your head out of that dark place where you so happily stuck it and get a whiff of reality instead of selling crap for roses.

In case you missed that Fearless THREADNAUGHT, I was the one that started the BIG YELLOW QUESTION that was asked over and over and over again and even by the CSM in the news interview on Eve Radio.

People won't be buying remaps daily or weekly, most likely every few months, it will have LITTLE effect on gameplay, I myself have over 55m Skill Points, this will help the new players past the most frustrating and most likely for them to quit part of the game.

Sure they can buy a character, again that is pay to win, no? But perhaps they want to do it on their own, I did.

What people don't want is NEX only SHIPs and Guns and Ammo and BIG SKILL PACKS to ADD as they see fit.

What happened to being Fearless? What happened to the so called "innovation"?

Has the metric that puts World of Darkness at risk been hit?

What happened to "stay the course"?

What do we get in Winter? More of the same..

you realize theres no real way for them to win right? If they dont "stay the course" they start the slippery slope of giving in to their customers' demands. It removes the directional decisions from their hands to the players' an Ill bet you more than EVE is worth that they dont want that.

Which also brings up another question, when do we get to spend our AUR on convience items such as more slots? Again this is NOT a pay to win feature in NEX, if people want more server storage, go spend your AUR, You can always keep it client side still. Quite easy to automate deleting existing fits slots and importing new EFT fits if you really want to.

Some players wanted NEX for more remaps. Real Eve players want anything but, as it violates CCP's stated "no p2w" policy.

Idiot. Do you even know what a neural remap is?

I am unblocking Miilla temporarily to give her a +1 on this one. There are certain things that CCP should not be afraid to put on the NEX market. Neural Remaps is one of them. BPC's (NEVER BPO'S!) is one of them as well. But only BPC's for things like Faction items.

I think I'm the last person I expected to be talking about the company values - don't get me wrong, something like that was needed when CCP was growing by 200 people per year, but having two degrees in Philosophy, those types of words always make me cringe.

That being said, being fearless shouldn't mean that one is reckless. Innovation is being done, sometimes it just takes time. I have no idea about putting other projects at risk and staying a course that most, if not all, agree is not the right one should be called reckless.

What we in Iceland get in winter is usually snow... (yeah, I know, bad post). You should "watch some space" to get more information - when, I cannot say as I'm not the one writhing the stuff up.

Basicly u are saying this:

It is not normal to talk about company values as a ccp employee

It should be normal when ccp was growing by 200 ppl a year but somehow u guys forgot your company values

due your philosophy deegree it made u cringe, i can conclude from this that ccp is a strong top down organazation

U say ccp´s current course of action is fearless but not reckless, (pretty reckless to me though)

Innovation is being done and it takes time, nice clothes innovation though im sure it is time well spend

ccp general employee thoughts is that only a course that is wrong and u stick with it is reckless, thus saying the incarna patch is still a good thing despite all player reactions (i bet the top down organazation has something to do with this)

In the winter u get usualy snow so we should all play eve so we can see the new changes (what if we dont like it, guesss we HAVE TOO play the game to see)

So from all said, i can conclude that ccp finds there course fearless and not reckless. Its a organisational mess at ccp because they have grown so fast. (prolly cause small poject mangement only works in small companies, so ccp actualy outgrown themselves). This is also a vision on the upper mangement team way of fuctioning (not well). Too many communication lines, i bet the must have meetings everyday. Elmucho meetings Elnjeta eve play

Should i go for a pshycologie degree?

You are making a lot of assumptions based on my post and your conclusions are mostly only possible conclusions.

For example, few things (besides EVE) has been discussed, within CCP,as much as the company values. The point I made was that when _myself_ start to talk about them, things are getting odd. Why are things getting odd? Because random words that are supposed to describe a company (be that CCP or any other company) are usually lacking something IN MY OPINION.

When a company says "We strive for quality" what does that mean? Does it mean that the company didn't strive to make quality products but has now decided to do so. Then again, what kind of a company doesn't try to create quality products? These questions are examples of that _I PERSONALLY_ ask when I read about any company's values - including the one I work for.

Obviously I'm not going to tell you what to study, but going to school is important!
