It is possible that something has gone sideways. My records show their alliance disbanded at 11:13 last night, which was probably during the downtime. Auto-billpay probably failed due to lack of isk at the time. Or more likely they flatout didn't have auto-billpay on, and neglected to pay the bill, thus rightfully disbanding the alliance. That's why you should never trust auto-billpay, and always pay the alliance maintenance bill manually.

The "RvB - Red Federation" name has been impounded by Dec Shield as a result. We will consider selling the name back, for offers somewhere in the 25bil range.

You do realise that if there was a problem CCP will just reset 'as was'

Also they can just create RvB - Red Alliance or something ( i dont think they are too precious about kb stats history) - nice try though

I find it highly unlikely CCP will reset things to how they were. There have been many instances of such things happening, towers illegitimately falling offline, being killed and taken by enemies. Alliances disbanding and being stolen, etc. The only types of changes that they roll back are illegitimate ship losses. I am curious to see what their ruling on this will be

OP is not in the spirit of EVE-mas... and since no snowballs I guess EVE is going Grinch - OH NOs!

Personally it sounds like a non-issue with the corps and the eternal war... now, on the note of my extensive research into alternate names, I demand the RVB convert everything to:

Dark Red Federation of Doom and Dark Blue Republic of Meanie Pants with similar holding companies, and then the whole thing under the Ultra-Spectral Rainbow Alliance of Ponies and Nuclear Devastation.

...or something else off my list if this isn't cool enough.

No, I was using it as a wardec flipping corp for this scheme. But evidence indicates that scheme will no longer work. It'll be part of Dec Shield again shortly where it'll sit until the matter is resolved.

Of course, reimbursing the alliance name does not fit with CCP's normal behavior for these types of events. We've seen this sort of thing before, such as during a patch a while back all reinforced towers snapped to an offline state. A hostile fleet came and destroyed an NC tech moon, then towered the moon and began mining themselves. CCP reimbursed the tower and mods to the NC, but didn't turn over the moon or lost tech. The analogy to this situation would be to reimburse you the 1bil for the alliance, but not to take the name from me.

The offending party wins. You cannot rely on CCP to fix things for you, you need to proactively move forward and accomplish your goals at any cost. The games is constantly moving forward and CCP are very reluctant to try rolling things back as a policy. I know you guys are trying to spin all the arguments about me impersonating you, and trying to get me banned. But I've been nothing but open and public about my new acquisition. I don't expect your arguments to hold.

Play EvE how you want to play it and do not let others dictate how you play. Evolve your playstyle to protect yourself from others! Even in "PVE", "PVP" is there, lurking in the shadows.
