First off i have to explain the reasons i have been making these videos and its pretty simple really. First and foremost ( im selfish ) these videos help keep me interested in eve online. Making thee videos helps motivate me to log in and play the game. Second, When i used to go away from eve and play other games i would watch a video someone did and get inspired and come back and try new things out. Hopefully i will be able to inspire someone to try something new or come back to the game.
I also want to throw it out there that i am not the best PvP'er by any means, but I do have a certain knowledge of psychology and game mechanics that somehow lets me win fights eveyr once and a while.


I will try to get a solo commentary up once a week ish, depending on how busy i am irl.

Pretty ridiculous fight you had there in your mega. The MJD is a pretty cool looking mod. How did you manage to tank that drake and nemesis no problem with your single large rep and later the tempest (before the nemesis decloaked).

well i wasnt quite tanking the drake, but i have about 170k ehp or 180k ehp so his damage looks pretty low, and the armor repper is tanking close to 300 dps.

and the drake looking at his fit he did actually have 3 BCU's, so his dps wasnt actually that bad. (still an HML drake...)

also on a side note i do have my alt in a tanky, projected eccm link drake in system at a gate, he was running t2 resistance armor link and i think a skirmish link for web/scram range.

thanks for all the feedback so far, and yes i will forsure be highlighting whether or not links are used in any of the upcoming videos, but almost all of the fights are without.

expect a new commentary up on thursday or friday.

Been a while since I last saw any good commentary videos and battleship videos tend to be rare aswell. So +1 for great videos.

The megathorn fight was very cool. And it was cool to see the MJD being used in such a cool manner.

Somehow I didn't think I would ever see an MJD used effectively at a small scale. Pretty happy to be proven wrong.

I liked the megathron idea, but to watch, it wasn't very interesting. I've seen fights where a megathron will solo a 10-15 man gang and all sorts. So watching a plate mega fight 1 pest (effectively) was kinda boring.

But, what you're doing is great, helpful and you look like ur having a lot of fun. Seeing the MJD in effect was nice, I will remember to fit a scrambler on every ship i own from now on ^^

What I would like to see is a bit more micro management. Your plate mega you say was doing what, 850 dps? with 3 plates? Try using a dual rep mega with mixed ion/elec, and u can get 986 dps, and a stronger tank, but obviously relies heavily on you doing it right!

Hope you see this as constructive critisism, that is what i was aiming for :)

Mega soloing 10-15 people?

Mate that was probably a vindicator not a mega, and it was probably faction fit + ganglinks.

@ buhhdust princess, hehe my killboard is ridden with many dual rep mega losses, which i prefer over dual rep domi's or hyperions jsut because people dont expect a dual rep fit as much., its pretty effective aswell with good dps, the plated one is just something i like to fly to change it up plus its really really tanky! Most of the next videos involves more micromanaging as i mostly fly active tanked ships when i solo. the first commentary was only put up because of the MJD without that its just a regular fight i think.

also there are more fighting against harder odds fights, have about 15 or 16 sort of ready to commentate on? however you would word that just a matter of finding the time to actually do it.

Expect some cool fights from the next few videos, ill try hard to highlight different main ideas or points in each one. And aside from the solo commentaries ill have some other like 2 man fights and some 1v30 or w/e rvb fights where i get to kite in not kitey ships?

thanks for the great feedback mister or miss rain6637 there are plenty of videos out there that just show the fights with music playing in the backround, if you would like i can direct you towards some of those.
