Capacitor Status Timer...

It would be better if a ship capacitor showed the actual time remaining rather than the percentage left when it is 'moused over'

When I am busy fighting or whatever, I do not want to have to work out much capacitor I have left time wise.

17% left of 16.34 minutes?

Wait everyone while I work this out!

Time remaining would be so much better.

Sorry if this has been requested before and I am asking for the obvious.

This is not a signature.

I like this idea. It could just be a number in seconds placed in the middle of the capacitor circle in the UI.

I don't see the point. The "time left" on capacitor power would be constantly changing every time a module is activated and deactivated (you shouldn't be perma-running all your mods in all situations)... even neuts and nos (either my own or an enemy's) would throw off the "time left" counter.

Plus, a "time left" counter wouldn't tell you how much actual capacitor you have... which is something you need to factor in when making tactical decisions.

For example: my Navy Slicer has enough capacitor to run everything for less than 1.5 minutes (as stated in the fitting screen and EFT)... often, this is long enough to kill frigates and destroyers, but not cruisers and above.
Once I see my capacitor drop below 1/3 total capacity (which the optimal amount for max recharge) I turn off my guns and hold "point" on the ship til back-up arrives.
