You could also visit all the "Shattered" planets in EVE. I think there are 6 of them. The first one is in Seyllin...

Looking at the map, I am going to define it like this

  • Most Northern System of EvE - QYZM-W (Branch)
  • Most Western System of EvE - LBGI-2 (Fountain)
  • Most Eastern System of EvE - RT64-C (Outer Passage)
  • Most Southern System of EvE - Lx5K-W (Paragon Soul)

the static data dump would give you a definite answer

Any ideas how and where?

The static dump gives absolute coordinates for every star system in EVE (including w-space, incidentally). I can't give you the technicalities of how to do it (I have VERY basic SQL knowledge), but in the evedump > mapSolarSystems sub...folder (?), the database lists every system in eve, and gives an x, y, z coordinate for each. The units seem to be in meters, so as you could guess, the numbers get rather high. Anyway, more technical people than I could tell you how to properly sort from there.

Also, I appreciate the shout outs to EVE Travel :-D If anyone has any other ideas of what I should cover, I'd love to hear them.

Finally, CCP Eterne is mean and mocks me with the prospect of getting into Polaris :-(

Hm. I'm now thinking about a list of places combined with things to do. Like

  1. Go to C9N-CC and visit Steve.
  2. Go to EC-P8R and ninja-mine Crokite
  3. And so forth

Well since two (?) of them are as remote as Polaris for normal eve-lings only very few have acomlished that so far I guess...

A lot of good answers in this thread, even the CCPtroll.

Roll

However, seems the Arek’Jaalan Project at Site One: Antiquus, located in the system of Eram, wasn't mentioned.

That site was capsuleer funded and built under the auspice of the Minmatar Republic. An unprecedented collaborative effort between capsuleers and an empire faction. It houses interactive research libraries and artifact museums. Truly a sight to behold - a multi-phased construction site that will hopefully encompass many more projects in the future. .

Of course there's also all of the Landmark Beacons listed in the Starmap.

There's still a few Deadspace type areas near gates that contain objects normally found in mission sites, such as gas clouds with debris, asteroids, circular construct, warning sign, etc. There used to be a lot of those areas located next to Planets but when the planets were re-vamped along with the removal of deep space bookmarks due to systems being condensed, most of those areas were lost/removed so the Devs graciously decided to incorporate those objects into the starmap listed Landmark Beacons.

Might be a good idea to ask CCP for a complete list of all 'special' eye-candy sites and area locations available for capsuleer access within the Eve Universe.

Anyway, good luck to you.
