"Flying" a ship

Wow! leave a thread for a day and I get ISD posts and lots of helpful feedback!

So to try and summarize what I'm learning and what I should take away:

- It's all about having a fit (ship and modules) that suits how you want to play

- No 2 ships are the same and can be fitted the same (bonuses, slots etc...)

- Your fit is similar to speccing a class for a specific purpose and will gimp it at other things

- There is a general theme of how ships work for the 4 races (bonuses, aesthetics)

- Darth Veda finds your LackOfFaith disturbing (sorry, couldn't resit. Starwars fan here Smile)

So in short, think about how you want to play and find a build that fits it.

I had read that CCP took some ideas from Magic the Gathering in that there are hundreds of cards. You find and build a deck based on what you want to do. It's not about an individual card.

Have I missed anything?
