many thanks for your reply, maybe i could join your oldmans corp :)
god knows how but i seem to have totally buggered up my tutorials strayed somewhere i should not of and got killed, is the completion of the tutorials an absolute must, at the moment am just wingin it i have no idea what i am doing lol, once am back at work i will print off the isk guide for myself to refer too easily. the game is quite daunting for noobs like myself where we have not had to think too hard :)

It's not absolutely necessary, of course, but it might help you get a better understanding of some game concepts. Of course, you can just read the guide if you prefer. Smile (recently I went and completed all tutorials on my new player character just for fun).

Also, if you prefer videos http://www.youtube.com/user/SeamusDonohueEVE has playlist "How to Survive EVE Online" which shows all AURA and Career Agent tutorials. Over 7 hours long and I actually watched it all. There is also other playlist for other subjects.

Tutorials only gives items once, so if you lose them you need to buy new items from market if they are needed.

Were you unable to buy replacement items from the market? Stuff from the market is generally more powerful than the "civilian" items handed to you through the tutorial series. You will need to train the appropriate skills though.

The important thing is you're having fun :)

Driven to suicide, so quickly too.

Eve will test your meddle, you will have opportunities impossible in real life and face problems you have not conceived of and dig into inner resources you only suspected you had. Gather your wits and courage youngster (56 here). Success is often a collection of mistakes.

AFAIK you drop that mission and do it over and over as tutorial have no standing penalties fro quitting them.
Agent should give you new stuff each time you take that tutorial, you also receive a new ship n00b ship each time you visit a station with your pod (assuming you don't have a ship waiting for you at the station).

as for skills they do not disappear or anything they keep training while you're off line so you it's recommended to have a queue full of long skills if cannot login that often (I have 25days my sefl atm.)
If you queue runs dry you have to log in to put new skills hence EVEmon warning for putting more skills when queue runs under 24h of skills in training.

Now many people thing that you cannot complete with vets because they have XX amount of skills which is wrong.
Your skills can affect only one ship at a time so having all those SP simply means that they are likely have more skills at V then you do, nothing else and by having most skills IV means you only lose a few percent in efficiency then they do.

ofc. some tech II modules can only be used with lvl V skills but in most cases meta 4 is equal or better (and more expensive) then T2.

Welcome to Eve most new player friendly corps have a sort of hanger space where they place what the vets call junk loot. This is where you maybe able to pick up new weapons and mods for your ship for free or at a small cost. You may have to ask a director or CEO for the items though.

Eve has a steep learning curve but dont let that put you off because its a very rewarding game when you get to know how it all works. I have been in Eve on and off since it was released and I still learning about it :)
