They do, but the difference is very little.
With old effects I could tell what torps are used on me. As for now I have no idea if it's not a Mjolnir torps.

Difference seems rather extreme to me. Not sure I could confuse kinetic missile explosions for anything else. EM is pretty obvious as well. EX/Them I don't exactly recall at the moment so I can potentially grant those might be close, but at least we have 3 very distinct effects.
