oh sup are you still white-knighting ice mining bots in brapelille?

It was Ardallabier actually. And it was my Alt Thomas Abernathy, this character is for lol's mostly.

And why would I need to go back there? It seems the hive's second ice interdiction failed miserably......Cool

Third. Or technically Bat Countrys second interdiction.

We still managed to make our billions thanks to all of the market panic while also showing how broken the barges are.

yeah guy I'm totally shaking in my boots because some npc alt poster is calling us out on these mythical PvP bot fleets, claiming they exist with not one iota of evidence

Actually it's my NPC "alt" and it's an account of it's own. You might see NPC mains as valueless. I see them as an integral part of EVE if you are trying to avoid being part of the blob. Sisohiv is one of 15 characters I have and is in the top 4 in SP and has all my Industrial skill points. While you might see her as "just an NPC alt" I see her much different.

On the topic of script fleet PvP, I never accused GSF of it. I've seen you guys shitup local. There is no debate you guys are active. So the other reply was right. You are paranoid.

You only made Billions?
Heck I made Billions each off the last two Ice interdictions, and you guys have a lot more seed money than I do. You kids must be doing it wrong.... Lol

I admit, compared to the over one trillion we have made on freighters the number is rather small.

Right, there are no "PvP scripts" no matter how much you insist. Considering that their behavior would be ridiculously predictable, they would not be very feasible, and that doesn't even take into account the fact that they'd be quite noticeable.

I do love all of the replies from those who think that bots are only a nullsec phenomenon, though Roll

Explains why those Retrievers I just flew past said things like "$hitfit 3.5", "WTF 3.8", "LOL 3.2"

Makes perfect sense now.

Why would anyone use PvP scripts, when isboxer is available? All you need is endless isk to fund all the alts, a quality gaming system and bam! Instant fleet. Lol

I've seen how Goons fly, if they are using bots then I'd be sacking my programmer.

Wait, what?

So expecting someone to provide even a shred of evidence to back up an extraordinary claim, regardless of what the claim is, now makes people paranoid?

What a crazy world we live in where expecting people to be able to back up what they say is labelled as "paranoid"

Pretty much this. It just sounds like 2010 era "Sphere" bullshit. I mean there are cheat scripts in the game that make use of python injection and the like but they mainly affect things that can be changed at the client side. Some script that fires up tidi just sounds like nonsense. From my experience Tidi usually kicks in at gatecrossings then settles down. I can't think of any script that would be able to do that on a large scale.

Maybe isboxing a 1000 man fleet, but that's just stupid.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Andski, being coy? Everyone knows that deep 0.0 is filled with Bots, or nothing......

No, actually recently 77.3% of bots appear to be caught in high-sec, with just over 16.5% caught in null.

So it's high-sec that's full of bots, sorry Bob:

I ran the numbers. And if anything, we're seeing a lower number of bots we're catching in high-sec, in favor of 0.0. But I don't think the trend is big enough for it to be more than speculation. To give you an idea, a best fit line on the data I have is like this:

High-sec: y1 = -0.0011x + 0.773
0.0: y2 = 0.0008x + 0.1651

You can sort of deduce from that how low-sec plays out. But regardless, I don't think we can really draw any conclusion from this data.

Couldnt that just mean more bots are caught in high-sec? I imagine a system of emptyness where bots farm 24/7 no-one would bother to report and less would get caught.

Whilst in high-sec i get accused for botting because i dont reply to convo-spam and dont reply to a wall of taunts.

At least 50% of miners killed were easily identifiable as bots given that they continued warping to the station and back to the belt in a pod. Lonetrek and the forge are by far the most bot infested in all of EVE.

I'm pretty sure CCP doesn't require players to report bots in order to find them.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)
