I will try that. I wanted to power my GTX 460 from a second power supply I have laying around from an older build. Thank you for the explanation.

You can use the power switch on the PSU itself if it has one, and it's easy to know if the wire bridge between the green and closest black wire worked, since once the mod is done just power up the PSU from it's own switch and see if the fan on the PSU itself starts turning......No need to connect anything to the PSU like a video card or anything else that uses molex connectors( hard drives, Blueray player, etc...).

If the fan spins, you're good to go...Blink

Yes, if I understand the dual link dvi right, there is no bezel correction for it because the two monitors that are on the dual link dvi are not seen as two monitors, they are seen as one really big monitor and since it is one monitor, there is no bezel to compensate for from software point of view. If this is right, then you could use the two monitors on the dual link dvi for one of your side views or maybe for the vertical central view (one monitor above the other).

That would work for a 3x1+1 or 4x1+1 setup, but this is a 5x1. There is no "top" screen.

As you can see, the "1" is one screen, the "2" is a separate screen. Eyefinity still allows bezel correction for 1 giant screen like this, however, the dual-DVI just won't work for my applications.
