haha that's a horrible way to treat a cov-ops courier. -10 on that build.

This.

It would be one of the funniest trolls ever if CCP changed the sec status of all the systems around Jita to 0.2.

If people don't know to avoid hauling through Rancer by the time they accrue that much wealth then they deserve to lose it.

Heartless comes to mind and Christmas so close c'mon.

I mean how are any kind of coverts supposed to get past a gate camp when there are 200+ probes launched on a
gate they are jumping into.

Granted it is several weeks since they have used this practice but do still use randomly. That and the
5 or so rokh's that commonly camp most days of the week (12 is a rare event) waiting for the recon mistakenly
confident he can warp gate to gate in safety.

Until the last week or so I lived in the Rancer pocket for over 3 years, they smartbomb daily. However they only do so in the path of the system's stargates, it isn't hard to avoid. Adapt or die.

No they warp to 100km inline on gates. They will move to other spots on gates to be inline with other celestial's.
Scouts in rancer report alignment when would be victim leaves a particular in gate so an educated guess can be made
from which celestial you will land on the out gate.

Also a common practice if your caught in your ship is to have a smart bomber near your ship during the ransom
process. This is to kill your pod should you decide not to accept said ransom.
Ejecting is an option at the moment should your pod be worth anything of substantial value.

The above is commonly used to kill your pod anyway after it is decided you have no value due to age.

I have yet to see them sit anywhere except ~7km from the gates in Rancer in line with the other gates. Maybe if they know for a fact your habits personally they will accomodate them, but I haven't seen it. As for the rest of your post, what is the problem? They are taking steps to kill you or get something out of you, something that falls well within the spirit of EVE. Don't like it? Take a fleet to Rancer and oust them yourself, or just avoid the system entirely.

Should i feel bad for letting them kill my alt in a rookie ship just for the clone port back? I get where i wanted to go, they get to think i'm really upset about it, everyone wins.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

So why does no one just anchor a gsc near the gate and thus put them permanently out of business?
Just like in ice belts?

HELLO RANCER

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

Heads up guys there is hope though. It don't always go negs 10's way.

They die horribly if they leave the gate.

MrSandwichSandwich on the youtube comments has a high probability to be Liiza Valora an fc within neg 10.

Hey hey I always try to give the benefit of the doubt, innocent until proven guilty you know.

But yes peruse their kb and you will see a high % of pod kills invariably smart bombing bs.

I got smart bombed in Rancer a few months ago while flying a cov-ops, which is fine, but what wasn't fine was my client freezing before i left warp, and remaining frozen until i was in a new clone in a station. To add to it all, i spawned in station below the walkway, and ended up falling into the scenery forever. That was fixed the next time i logged in, but the entire thing was probably the worst experience i've ever had in this game, and i didn't even lose that much compared to other times i was blown up.

I've actually made it through there dozens of times, even when everyone is on high alert. It was quite humbling to be killed in lowsec. I'm not sure if that's ever happened to me before. Find myself mostly exploding in hisec and 0.0.

But i definitely lost more on my implants than anything else, even though they were mere +4's. Both the clone and the cheap ship were in Jita since the 'burn Jita' thing, and i was just bringing them back to Rens for something to do.

Regarding revenge, the way i see it, they've already wasted enough of my time.

That's not trolling, that's being a jerk.

I did courier runs to Amamake because i thought it was Ameinaka. Didn't die.
Mammoth went through Rancer about five times until i noticed a bunch of -10 reds about. Stayed in station until i saw a local spike of 5.0 pilots who came and basically barbecued Negative Ten on the gates. Flew Gangnam style past all the wrecks.
Died once to a smartbombing Hyperion.

This whole HURR PEOPLE ARE STUPAT HURRR SOMEONE DID A DUMBNESS HURR really doesn't thrill me because my sense of security is derived from RL. Ingame, which i play for 2 or 3 hours a day most days, the record time elapsed before someone says the word ******** is 28 minutes.

Edit: wow the word that sounds like restarted is censored? OK

EvE and RL would be way different without your miserable insecurities.

I love it how the kinds of players who just have to sit there and kill everything that moves for no reason have been herded by the game mechanics to just a few systems that most other players know enough to avoid.

In fact I don't think I ever been in Rancer.
