Fixed that for you there snapperhead.

Your seething jealously completes me.

Lol jealousy of what exactly? Your ***** based avatar or your leader who pulls stunts that benefit his adversaries?

Nah you caught me I'm jealous of both.

Not a fan of the Goons, but one thing that can be said about their activities is that they actually get Eve. Its a sandbox, they are playing in it. They are doing in Eve exactly what Eve is for, creating content.

So they have made a few select systems unsafe in a small part of the galaxy for specific type of pilots doing something very specific. How in the world is this a global problem. Its a butterfly sized problem.

Avoid the systems in which they are active (which they have conviently listed for you) .. problem solved.

The reality of Eve is that, if you don't love it like it is today, you should probobly go ahead and unsub.

No need to do anything, its not like it will have any effect, unless they don't like making ISK from selling their moon minerals. Also Goons don't control 100% of null

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.

Conflict = growth, this is truth. Goons plan Vs CCP is conflict, so should in theory work out. TBH its better than just watching Eve become a business venture for the rmt nation anyway, so win either way.

Trust me, I almost know what I'm doing.

What goons do or say is irrelevant , they act like spoiled teenagers with a attitude problem , what they don't realise is that they own and rule nothing but a virtual realm that will end as soon someone switches off the electricity

Most of them are nothing but a bunch of idiots who hide behind the reputation of their alliance and follow blindly ,without thinking, their leaders ( thinking for themselves might hurt them too much) ,
It is their leadership that worries me the most, egocentric and ooh so selfish , bunch of people i ever known

As another poster mentioned they became part of what they set out to destroy

Sometimes i compare them to the Ferengi of the star trek universe.. loudmouthed, mostly a nuisance but otherwise harmless

I do not agree with what you are saying , but i will defend to the death your right to say it...... Voltaire

Dude, you just described 99% of 0.0 population. Goons at least become boring only after a while.

See, and this is where you're wrong.

So far, the miners have expressed much more rage at losing virtual spacerocks that won't exist anymore as soon as someone switches off the electricity.

I am not sure it is only the leaders but I basically agree with this assessment.

Nullsec is under the control of a small band of egomaniac warlords who love nothing but to fight.

Is that a problem ? I believe it breaks immersion a bit. If EvE was a game in which fighting was conducted by dishevelled barbarians on horseback clad in animal skins and wielding bows and arrows, it would be absolutely fine.

However, I cannot help finding it odd to have that sort of mentality while we are piloting spaceships. I do not believe a space-based society could survive long with that kind of mentality. As a result, the whole thing becomes quite surreal and, yes, eventually boring.

A big part of the reason that our immersion-breaking society still exists is that every single person that cares about immersion is terrible at playing this game.

Goons saving EVE? All they care about is ruining it so they can find another game to troll once they've destroyed this one.
