How come the Evelopedia didn't just draw information directly from the APIs? Is this a limitation of Wiki type applications or something?

Would be cool to have up to date information, especially for BPs when we're planning outside of game. :-)

Any update on this? I'd really like to be able to edit my own user page, but I'm unable to because I can't switch to this character in Evelopedia.

Since it's apparently impossible to do anything with Evelopedia, as far as creating/editing content is concerned, could you at least PLEASE post something to that effect rather than having us waste our time attempting to do so?

Seriously, creating a simple wiki page shouldn't be this complex! If something's horribly broken just tell us that. I wasted an hour searching for information on why I couldn't get logged in to create a page before finding this thread.

So, this news post was pulled shortly after release but can still be seen on external sites.

Evelopedia still is the old one, w/o SSO. No News to the, removed, news after the news?

They have cycled the new one twice with out fixing the SSO bug that was found because of the bug report interface rewrite they do not have time to work on the wiki currently any edits that are done on this version will be copied over to the new SSO version hopefull all the data tags i added to the SSO will not be lossedWhat?

We were still not satisfied with the new version, so yes we unfortunately had to roll back a second time. It's in much better shape now and we're also doing additional, more intensive QA on it as well, to be sure. Third times a charm right? ;)

Yes, we're also working on the new bug reporting feature, and have just wrapped up the Alliance Tournament web pages as well. Normally this wouldn't cause this current delay for the wiki deployment, however it's summer vacation time here in Iceland so we have a few people that we need to handle all this currently on vacation.

Again, really sorry about the delays! I understand how frustrating the current wiki is at the moment. And don't worry, any edits you make on the current version will be carried over to the new one.

Thanks!

With the new version up the above question still stands and I got a new issue.

I do not want to have to place all the stubs that I edited in placed again. Is a list of the changes stored some where so I can go off of what was changed instead of guessing?

If i logged in to the dust forums after I log in to the eve forums i cant log in because SSO only acknowledges the dust forums after I log in there.
