I guess tip number 1 is that EveHQ is (sadly) no longer under development and won't be updated for new patches. Otherwise, as it's db will be current till Dec 4th, theres a lot of headaches with .Net 4 and mono to work around to get it working from my last attempts; a virtual machine is likely the best solution.

Actually a few months ago it was picked up again by a new group.
