question for the expeling for corp mates

Why do I have to wait for them to dock in-order to expel someone?

This allows people to pass hard ass background checks and grief the hell out of corps!

It also prevents you from doing nasty things like kicking people out of corp when they're logged out in a pos so that they get shot at when they log in (one example).

Or even better would be having an active wardec, warp into a pile of hostiles, leave corp before you're lockable and watch the concordokken.
