ISK is the currency between capsuleers, but do the empires got their own currencies? Any ideas what they are named?

I mean, one ISK is a massive amount of power.

Yeah, there's baseliner currencies, never encountered any names, so lots of room for you to make them up. :) I do know that your right about 1 ISK, biseliners will sell each other out for what seems like nothing to capsuleers.

Highsec is owned by players now. Systems 0.5-1.0 are New Order Territory. All miners and other residents of Highsec must obey The Code. Mining without a permit is dangerous and harmful to the EVE community. See www.MinerBumping.com

There are many currencies used in New Eden (the EvE online universe). Most of them are just local planet side currencies, but there are also Empire specific versions.
Some very large (NPC) corporations and conglomerates of corporations even have their own.

Isk is the only currency used by capsuleers though, as it is exclusively used for interstellar trade and the only one excepted universe wide.

The way i consider it is like how the American Dollar is the main "internet" currency, but all the nations have thier own kind of currency. At least thats the way ive always looked at it.
