  • The numbers

This is the 80th BMBE shareholder report
(Shareholder reports are released the first full weekend after the 7th in a month)

Points of interest
Collateral from defaulted loan has been sold.

This months NAV is a tiny bit lower than last month.
This is due to a small bookeeping error from last month (due to late div payments) that meant last months NAV was calculated too high.
Ie. last months NAV was erroneously a tiny bit higher than it should have been.

--

BSAC is closing

BMBE has a lot of BSAMR/BSAMT shares that, on purpose, have always been listed in the books at a very low value.
Once the buybacks from BSAC has been completed (BSAC estimates early/mid december), BMBE stands to "earn" roughly 10B ISK.
Ie. NAV will go up with about 4%.

So now would be a very good time to try and get hold of some BMBE shares :-) (at current value)

So where should investors go to get those undervalued shares? The are very few in the Exchange, and they are definetly not undervalued.

Also, there is an active bond you might want to take a look at.

Do you want to comment on the fact that for 6 months there have barely been any loans.

Is there a point when you would consider winding the bank up due to lack of loan activity?
Don't see the point on holding 100B+ a month in cash.

I've done so in pretty much every shareholder report (although very brief) and in the newsletter announcing the reduced interest prices.

Not a point that I could put a figure/time on right now.

Well - If we don't have that 100B+ - How can we then make that 100B loan when it's (finally) needed... (or 50B which is more comon)

Banking is a funny business - Your optimal income is when all ISK is lent out.
But that at the same time "puts you out of business" as you then can not (directly) make new loans...

I've capped my loan service now and will be directing new clients towards BMBE, once my cap is reached. So I suspect you might get some more traffic coming here.

EDIT: I've added a little note in my thread, with a link to BMBE. Basically giving people another option, if I'm at capacity or if they are not happy with my terms.
