Hi guys you don't have to hate gays all the time.

One of the most famous gays in the world is Freddy Mercury and that is a man we all learned to respect, but not until after he died.

Freddy mercury was a beautiful musician and I'd like to share one of his most beautiful moments in music.

A lot of people on this board have been mad at me lately because I'm a little bit racist and homophobic (even though I'm gay or lesbian wtf). I just want to make sure that everyone knows I'm on friendly terms. Sometimes I make fun of gays and ethnic minorities.

I don't mean it though.

Really, I just want this thread to be a huge apology to every gay guy and girl I've offended since I've been here.

I only did it because gays are so easy to annoy. If CCP want to do a pro-gay event I will be more than happy to make an effort for it. Again, I apologise and I hope we can get a gay community going here. Maybe we can gank them weekly or something. It will be uber fun.

CCP doesn't need to do a pro-gay event because this whole game is a pro-gay event. A bunch of dudes getting together and navigating their floating metal phalli through "gates" and "docking" in "stations," I mean, come on. Have you ever SEEN the Thorax?

I have deleted a post here that was borderline.

I am going to assume this topic was made in good faith and not as some sort of extremely convoluted sarcastic troll. I expect others to behave maturely as well and not do or say anything offensive in response to it. If you feel the urge to be offensive, don't post. Because you will get in trouble if you do.

That being said, we here at CCP love all our costumers equally. Except for jellyfish. Screw those guys. They're soooo creepy looking.

Back in my day, judging people by the content of their character was enough, per Dr. King's famous quote, and everybody lived with that.

But I have seen things in chat in-game and occasional forum posts that are over the top, the things we would never have done back in the day if we have forums and MMOs. Even in interactions in RL I've seen people under 30 say things that I and very few people I know (and I know people who have made their living by killing people) would ever say.

I think this is because a lot of the younger crowd had political correctness shoved on them so much, that when one wants to troll or get yer goat, they pick out the things that are built up on their minds as very critical for pushing buttons. Such words, and opinions, were never allowed to have so much power prior to the early 1990s. But now it's OMG OMG and so, when one wants to use mere words as a weapon, the outcome is obvious.
