This kill was added by API at 2015-08-09T10:15:30Z, which is 4 minutes after the kill.

I'm going to sound like an ******* here, but damn dude, show some patience.

Yup, it is known (but not a bug). I've doing some background recalcs that has it all behind by a few days. It'll catch up though and you'll get your precious stats :)

Most graphics are from CCP's image server, so that is where the issue may be, not much I can do about that, sorry

Question.

Sometimes when displaying the API, my server does not pick up the newest kills for some reason. It's a pretty odd situation.. This is what it sees:

It can end up taking a hour for the API page to actually update sometimes. I believe its happened reverse way though too (on my main machine too.)

.. It's not a huge deal but I don't fully understand why. You can see there the same link called but it's missing one kill at the top of the first image. I've tried clearing cache to see but that doesn't seem to be it. Is there a limit to how many times the page is updated per IP or something like that?

Not sure, hopefully you might have some ideas. Thanks.

Not a stupid question at all. It is actually something I've been working on (but slowly). It is also an open issue that zkb isn't friendly for user installs. I started the process just before the holidays, got interrupted by the holidays, and I'm now getting back into it :)

Hey Squizz,

I am currently building a PHP script which fetches statistics data for a group of characters using multi curl.

Almost every time the API request fails for some characters with a curl SSL_CONNECT_ERROR(35). But it only fails for some request of the group (about 20 chars) within one multi curl session and for different chars.

Here is an example from my log: (time is UTC+1)
[2016-01-22 12:46:31] [Error] Utility.php: Curl error on url 'https://zkillboard.com/api/stats/characterID/92910441/': 'SSL_CONNECT_ERROR(35)'

Curl verbose only gives this info as far as I can see: " Unknown SSL protocol error in connection to zkillboard.com:443 "

I am currently compensating by just repeating failed requests. However this is pretty slow and I would prefer to help fix the root cause Can you maybe see something on your end? Any idea what the root cause might be?
