I've been playing the game for well over a year (heading onto two) on this character alone, had other characters before that. I've done pretty much everything there is to do in EVE -except- be a part of a major nullsec alliance, and was instead in a -A- pet. I currently divide my attention between industry and low-sec PvP.

I rather think I'm qualified, thank you very much.


If you really think playing eve for a single year means anything, or that you've seen more than a fraction of eve, you're sorely mistaken, no offense.


Close to two years, and had a wide range of experience. Am I the most experienced person in the game? Far from. Am I a noob? Hell no.

EVE's a PvP game, no matter what you're doing, it's just the way the game is.

And it is his job. ISD's are volunteers here to help, but running the forums is not soley the job of volunteers.

Hardly constructive. It takes anywhere between 2 to 4 seconds for someone with any understanding of game mechanics to realize exactly what's wrong with your plan.

Maybe if you put some more thought into your posts your threads would last longer.

That doesn't even make sense. I understand EVE is a complex system of many different playstyles. He thinks PvP players are the only ones who matter and everyone else is stupid, or something.

i know this has been said before but every aspect of this game is in some way PVP, its unavoidable.

You can't nerf PvP because it is the very basis of eve. Stop being lazy and pay attention in high sec and maybe you won't die to something. You can avoid undock gank at jita by warping to the station aligned with jita undock. You can avoid getting ganked in a miner by not being in 0.5, or simply paying attention to your game. You can avoid gatecamps in low by using an OP glitch with MWDs and non-covert cloaks. You can avoid getting ganked in a mission runner by not fitting officer modules on it, and not doing missions in ichoriya or motsu, or being idiotic and shooting a mission loot stealer unless you plan to have some PvP with their pimp boat.

Generally any losses can be avoided by not being lazy in highsec, although freighter ganking is a bit out of hand currently. You can avoid that by not carrying more than 1.5-2 bil in cargo at once.

You can nerf aspects of PVP same way you can nerf anything ... let others have there opinions. A community manager should be unbiased.
