Always remember this: All the skill points and awesome modules and gear and big or advanced ships in the world won't mean anything if you still don't know how to fight properly and understand the key mechanics of combat and proper fitting for the right situation.

Strive to learn these things while the skill timer ticks, you'll make the best use of your time this way and it'll keep things from being a bore while you wait. If you already read about it then put it into practice until you're goo with it :D
