hi guys hows it going i have buy orders set up and was wondering whe the additinal cost is taken?

Orders Remaining: 43 out of 45 max open orders
Total in Escrow: 907,031,503 ISK (additional 1,242,969,096 ISK to cover)
Base Broker Fee: 0.75% of order value
Transaction Tax: 0.75% of sales value
Sell Orders Total: 0 ISK
Buy Orders Total: 2,150,000,600 ISK

ie i have 907m sat in the excrow i understand that gone from my wallet already but the other 1.2bil when will that leave? onces the first 907m has gone and the people still keep selling does it come out product by product or is it a lump ? jsut wondering thax

If you don't understand how margin trading works then you shouldn'nt be using it.

each order has its own escrow. When the escrow of that order is depleted any further sales to that order will draw from your wallet. If there is not sufficient isk in your wallet to cover the purchase the order will fail. i idea is to have sell orders up at the same time that will feed your wallet new isk before the buy orders are all filled to the point the escrow is depleted.

thax very much mate for that answer thats what i thought would happen. but was not sure if it would take a large lump afte thet escro had been depeleted or draw bit by bit. cheers cleared up

The workings of Margin Trading weren't terribly well explained to begin with, and while CCP has made some improvements, they still have a way to go.

Each single Buy Order set up keeps track of its own escrow amount. With Margin Trading trained to 5, you put 24% of the total Buy Order amount into escrow, and that's spent first to buy the stuff for that one Buy Order. Only after those are spent will the remaining 76% be taken from your Wallet on an as-needed basis.
