Command Ships V. That'll be pretty sweet to have done.

Finished that one on two characters - I just hope OGB nerfs and ship rebalances will make it useful again...

Other than that, I think it's the novelty value and how hard you waited for the skill to finish. I think I was excited when I finished my first BS V - last one wasn't so special because I did it seven times before.

Some of the drone skills are always quite satisfying to finish...

AWU5 is the worst skill to train for.

It's really a must have, but it's annoying because 8/10 fittings don't need it, so you don't even get more dps/tank etc out of it like you do for training BS5.

Apparently Fleet command 5 is annoying as hell too.

I'll be happy when...

Electronics V
Engineering V
Covert Ops V

Not as exciting as most, to be sure, but I'm a n00b and having a great here w/ the game and meta-game.

I think Recon Ships V was the skill I was most happy about when I completed it on the first character. It makes a huge difference because you have a whopping 100 more CPU available and it also boosts the point range of the Arazu considerably. Neut range on the Curse, too.

Logistics V is similar, with IV all your fittings are crappy and when you get to V, suddenly everything works.

Now it's been a while since I completed any skill I didn't already have on another character. In 30 days I'll get to Tactical Logistics Reconfiguration V (T2 Triage), that'll be a new one :)

Challenge accepted.

and for me, anything I train to level V is a relief, as it personally makes me feel like a better pilot. But specifically? Most likely getting Amarr Dreadnought to V. I take your 45 day training time and willfully ignore it.

BC V feels awesome (despite most people finishing early on) when you have it. Applies to so many useful ships!

But not in 2-3 months ;) new players don't GET happiness.

Getting all my nav skills to V felt great, I am a velocity oriented pilot if you know what I mean.

Logistics V ... It allowed me to use my favorite class of ships to their fullest and set me up for my triage carrier :D

Gallente Frigate V, so I could fly the Enyo which an old corpie friend had given me four years earlier.

Caldari BS 5. So I could fly the Golem a friend gifted to me a year before (didn't rate it much, so only flew it once or twice).

Then, when I decided to take my alt's Widow out for a spin, I found out that I'd somehow lost almost almost 2m SP from it without realising. But hey, it's my own fault for not checking a small piece of text hidden away on a submenu somewhere.

So while we're talking about long skills; I'm going to use this opportunity to say that the SP and clone system *really* needs work. How it's lasted this long without something as primitive as an automatic pre-undock check I will never know.

This.

I have every non industrial and non capital ship command skill in the game at 5 but the most satisfying one was definitely Black Ops 5, followed closely by all the battleship skills at V and BC V, then Command Ship V.

Skills used to make me happy when I got them.

This was a very long time ago, back when I had training goals. I don't anymore. I have almost 150 million SP, and no urge to use it.

What skill where you really happy finishing and how long was it?Big smile

also is it sad it makes my day better when I finish a long skill? Roll

I was really glad when I had finished Jump Drive Calibration V (Rank 9 skill) on my main.

For about half a year I've been finding reasons to push training for T2 Triage and T2 Siege back by just another month or two... Roll
On the one hand I use triage carrier and dread very infrequently and it's hard to justify the additional SP investment on its own merits, on the other hand the meta seems to approach a point where if I want to make any use of the SP I have already sunk into these ships I need to train for the T2 modules (or won't get into fleets).

Congratz to OP! personaly here on main i was most happy when finished, awu, drone interface, command, exhumers, large hybrid spec, caldari encryprion, Galente and Amarr bs all at lvl 5.

"This was a very long time ago, back when I had training goals. I don't anymore. I have almost 150 million SP, and no urge to use it."

I got similar feeling, longer i play more skill i got at lvl 5, in fact i cant use them at once.. most sp are in hibernation mode .. this is sad part of big amount sp...

If it bleed we can kill it.
