Incoming bounty system is most wired thing in EvE history since bot.ini, true bounty (Most wanted) form definition that give pirates bad look and needs to hunt them just disappear .

With new patch people got ability to set bounty to random people, even these who never undock form station.

EvE space become a place where no difirence form pirates and other who prefer pve - industry etc, everyone become potential (bad guy) and carebear at once, so in fact even peacefull grandma become a potential psycho or serial killer form first look.

Every player who got some bounty on head, would look like a pirate and every pirate got carebear look, this make no sense at all, just because this destroy bounty definition it self.


Ps.Im not against changes, we need changes in broken bounty mechanic, but this... now imagine, you call somone a carebear, he blame you for your nonsense because he is very bad person due to bounty... and vice versa :D

... that he prefers artificial restrictions on who can have bounties placed on them because an NPC decided who was good and bad.

You can also put a bounty on someone for making bad posts on the forum. I think I may have found a way around the bounty system by loading up my cargo hold with Prototype EANMs and getting blown up in some system where my Prototype EANMs are apparently worth 4m isk each.

Dont wory about me, my subscripiton end in sommer 2013, and my wallet is quite fat, no need carebearing years long... and now seriously, since 2007 i was carebear who grind 9.99 standing for caldari state a miner, explorer etc, but also got like xxx pvp on main and alts... i dont focus only at one aspect of this game ( as you sugest carebearing) here a lot thing to try.

Please excuse my difficulty understanding your poor English, but did you just say having a bounty on you will somehow make you rich?

I think if you place a bounty on someone who didn't actually agress you, he should get kill-rights on you

And lets add, that posting on the forums should reset the aggression timer .

Game wide pricing, rather than system. far too easy to game otherwise

Pirates are pirates not because of bounties but because they shoot other people's pixels. Carebears are carebears because they care about things like bounties, negative standing settings (mandatory notification send).

Bounty won't equal kill rights so everybody and his grandma can have a bounty and still do their ways doing what they do now. Nobody will go after you to get some pennies from bounty, they will gank you because you carry stupid amount of cargo or you just happen to be there when they decide to gank something.
