Listening to Episode 12 and the randomness of wormhole I also think the possibility of more than 1 wormhole being on the same grid would be cool.

You know I've seen you mention 8 probes a lot (not just on the forum), and I'm curious what formation you actually use. The reason I ask is that I too use 8 probes, and I used to use a format where I would have the typical diamond shape, but instead of a square as the mid section, I would have a hexagon (6 probes).

However, I saw in one of the threads about the odyssey probing changes that one dev mentioned that it was better to have a probe at the center of the formation and that the loss of the 8th probe didn't matter. While :ccp devs play the game?: I opted to try it and tbh he either is correct or there is very little change.

So now I just dump probes out in a diamond formation + two probes in the center and just scan (since it's faster and gives me apparently the same results). I really cba to spend a lot of time testing to figure out the optimal setup since it probably will make little difference due to virtues+max probing skills, but just curious.

I work in IT as a tester and how devs think their software is going to be/should be used/work and how it's actually used/works tends to be miles apart. (Which is why devs tend to make bad testers and why dedicated testers are needed in all software development.)
I'm not blaming the devs for anything or saying there's anything wrong with that, it's just how it tends to be by nature.

I played the free trial about a year ago, and subscribed again a few weeks ago. I've managed to listen to the entire series now (I travel a lot in the car for work and listening to podcasts helps me keep awake). I enjoy it a lot.

I thought the recent "Talk with Joey" was one of the most hilarious things I'd listened to in Eve. I need to get this character and my alt into a Wormhole and mess up with cheap ships. Thanks for keeping the show going.
