The only way it would work for t3's is if these new modules fit in the high slots but then that wouldn't work for the covert frigs. Ugh

I really hope they are wrong about a lot of what they reported as leaked.

I think it will change wormholes to much, with larger numbers the C5 and C6 residents will be happy but C4 and lower will be crap to live in.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

Ok, I went to school and came back with improved understanding of what has been presented there by connecting pixel symbols which represent "letters", combined into "words" which in turn form sentences, and with this added wisdom I now conclude that they nerfed the training time I put into Rangefinding V (rank 8) by moving half of it's bonuses into Astro (rank 3), and anyone will be able to scan as well with only Astro III and that new module.

Interesting stuff...So they moved some of the bonuses around, so now at level 4's you will scan as well as level 5's, plus with modules you get an additional bonus.

That's just skill-side and bonuses. I thought they were going to do mechanics changes too?

No. They moved half of the bonus from the ancillary skills into the main Astrometrics skill. The bonuses would still be the same on an all V character.

... you mean you don't use your mids for a scram + damps/painter/cap recharger/ship scanner?

Changes are meh. Makes scanning easier, don't predict a WH pop explosion personally. A lot of people simply fear them for some reason.

I believe the Helios will be the best scanning cov ops since it trades 1 high for a low and has 5 mids but only has 10 less base cpu then the buzzard. This will make up for the sorry excuse of the nemesis as a bomber Ugh

Am I reading those stats correctly whenn I come to the conclusion that you can gain the benefit of the modules while cloaked, since they don''t require capacitor or have a cycle time?

If you had to be uncloaked to use them, they'd be pretty much useless in WH space.

I'm hoping CCP has realized that, and that these are passive boosts.

It also looks like you can put multiple modules of the same type on a ship, subject to stacking penalty, giving even more scan capabilities.
