NVidia Optimus

I have a laptop that has a built-in Intel HD Graphics and a NVidia GT 520M, and every time I launch EVE, it runs on the Intel HD Graphics Processor, despite telling it to run on the 520M. The system is currently using the Nvidia Optimus setup, which I believe is a downgrade, and I have tried everything to run it on the 520M, but cannot get it to run. Is there a workaround, or am I stuck using the Intel? I've done everything from creating a profile, to using Nvidia Inspector to force it to use the GT 520M with no avail. This has to be the most infurating thing I have ever experienced, to be honest. I tried the same method I used to make Planetside 2 work, and it didn't force it over. Opening the "eve.exe" program file, using the context menu, "Use High-Performance Nvidia Processor" causes the launcher to open, but the game itself defaults into the Intel. Infuriating as hell, I tell you! Has ANYONE found a better way?
