Buckingham (and Duality) crash on startup

I have a desktop and a laptop. On my desktop, TQ, Buckingham and Duality have all worked fine and still do. On my laptop, Duality would crash whenever I tried to start the game, and now, that Buckingham has been updated with the latest changes, it too crashes whenever I try to start the game.

My laptop is a Dell XPS15, Windows 7 and all drivers updated.

First I tried deleting the cache, then I ran repairtool and re-updated with new files afterwards. Did not work. Also tried running in safe mode.

As a last attempt, I deleted my entire Buckingham folder and re-downloaded the client. Game still crashes as soon as the launcher starts the game.

Any ideas?

I solved the issue. The game didn't actually crash, was just a fullscreen issue. I pressed Alt-Enter once the game had launched, which sent me to windowed mode - was able to access the main menu this way.

Next problem was not being able to accept the EULA - circumvented this by going to Appdata and changing the prefs.ini file to "eulaagreed=1". When I rebooted the game, I was able to accept the EULA.

We have the same model of laptop, and I have had this problem (The game not displaying properly and requiring windowed mode to start) for a significant period of time, since the first Retribution changes launched on Duality back in September. I seriously hope that this bug doesn't persist into the finished Tranquility build. :\
