Is there a way to pull corporate shares back from someone who has been offline for a long time? This person is a friend and may come back so I don't want to kick him out of the corporation but I want to get the controlling amount of shares back...

"Recovering Shares

There is no way to force another player to return shares to a corporation, so be careful who you give shares to."

Also Kicking a Corp Member will not recover shares.

Shares are a stake in the company. Even when leaving a company, you retain your shares.

Likely the only way to recover them is to offer your freind a PLEX to re-sub and return the shares.

He could also use Hours for PLEX to re-sub a few hours to give you the Shares, but I do NOT recommend this.

This isn't a big deal. He can buy a PLEX off of the market and return it to redeemable items before the free hours lapse, so if he feels like reactivating at a later date, he can just redeem the PLEX for gametime through the account management page.

Yeah, he was the CEO of the corporation when i left for a while due to college and he left before I came back for personal reasons and have not heard from him since. Now I'm CEO and trying to get things back in order... Small casual corporation management, awesome!

If you have some shares, you can vote to make more, thus allowing yourself to control >50%.

Remove the person's ability to make shares. Create ten times as many shares and give them to yourself. Lock others out of making shares. Now the returning player should not have the shares to hurt you.

If, instead, you pay out based on shares, don't. Figure out another method. Or dilute the shares of the missing player by giving eberyone an order of magnitude more like a thousand times or so.
