its question to CCP why are you guys soooo slow ? You are adding tiny features but announcing them as HUGE and GREAT. Games market has change over last 10 yrs and you are still in very slow development process ? Why is so hard to add some new features ? Each is such a pain for you.. Every time when expansion is coming up we can all hear how hard it is to make EVE ! So please tell me how it is that others developers are fast and adding so many things to the games, and Eve dev process so slow ? Is this something with Python ? Bad organization ? Or something else ?

CCP carefully playtests everything extensively and puts it through a comprehensive review asking experts in the various fields of their game for years before releasing buggy code or easily gamed systems into the wild.

And locked

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

The answer on your question is how come others mmorpg are dying and eve not. Eve is expanding little by little every year. You think this easy game code is easy to make except the wallpaper background. But you know what i mean.

True, other developers can develop updates faster than CCP. However, which one of them has a game that has been thriving for over 10 years, and still continues to grow?

My man.
Play Mass Effect 3 MP. Then come back and say this with a straight face. I guarantee you will not succeed.

I have previously criticized CCP for..let's call them ****-ups, (*cough*newMinniedessie*cough*), but I have never counted "slow and buggy" among those ****-ups. Unfinished yes, but what's finished is usually solid in terms of major bugs - do remember that minor ones are harder to spot in testing - at least until someone goes out of their way to break it.

Ok there are so many things wrong with this thread i dont know where to begin

First Python is mother ******* magic and the best language to program physics in - but like the EvE learning curve the curve to learn python its the same as the eve learning curve graph. If anyone wants to dispute using python to program physics in - I will refer you to the Los Alamos Nuclear laboratories, and any large particle accelerator for more info.

Next - CCP has a very small staff - when compared to something like bioware or ea or blizz - you realize you dont have the same man power so stuff is slower - however there is a much better quality. Even with the bugs the game is still good.

3rd - player input drives the eve universe - Walking in stations and Dust were ideas since 2006 that are finally coming to light as a true bitter vet i never did mind resources going into these projects.

4th Finally when was the last time you programmed a game that required just a ton of work just to maintain the servers hell when was the last time a game company said "our servers are going down because of a fire in the server room because of PVP battle happing in XXX-XXX system. will everyone please log off and stop fighting until we put the fire out"

On a side note when was the last time you saw any company develop a game with 1 persistant universe.

Why Can't I have a picture signature.

Also please support graphical immersion, bring back the art that brought people to EvE online originaly.
