What happened to the 7 extra settings under the [Esc], ‘General’, ‘In-flight’ menu?

They have all gone in the latest client is that by design or a bug?

Sure, it's 100km.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Jukebox Neocom Control Removed- Not Happy:

I'm not happy about losing my Jukebox controls...I am not happy about this at all.

I love John Hallur's work, don't get me wrong...but I also like being able to listen to something else when I want to (like Starcraft music, the Mass Effect soundtrack, or something fast and hard-hitting to get my blood pumping while flying around in our iconic Rifter frigates loaded for combat). I also liked that fact that one could adjust music volume right from the neocom.

Now, it's gone. :( Now, I've lost easy control over the music, and frankly, I've lost control over picking what I want to listen to.

This doesn't make me happy. Now, I have to bring up my Windows Media Player and stress what little resources my laptop has to run music that I want to listen to, instead of being able to create custom playlists and upload music into EVE's music player.

Chat Scoll Arrows Gone:

I've also found the loss of scroll arrows for chat windows to be annoying. To scroll up one line, I have to use the slider now, which can end up causing me to overshoot the few lines I want to reread...alot...

Ship Hangar:

Are ships ever going to wobble again when in hangar view (the camera wobbles, but not the actual ship)? In CQ, they rotate. But, in hangar view, they don't hover and wobble like they used to (pre-CQ). I'd love to see that come back-I know it's merely asthetic, but looking at my ship, I feel like I'm staring at a placeholder and a picture rather than a, well, vessel of war.

Recommendations:

-enable ships wobbling in hangar view (pre-Captains Quarters)

-add more missions (NPC fleet vs. NPC fleets that actually shoot)

-STOP NERFING EVERYTHING!

No Jukebox?

You may think that no-one listens to EvE music, and your right to a certain extent - but what you clearly are unaware of is the amount of people that DO listen to the music.

Vets may have no interest but the music is something that allures and sets the tone to new players of this game.

I've been playing EvE since 04 roughly, and I listen to the music once in a while - enough of it to make me notice that the jukebox is not there.

There is music playing however. I'm getting sounds that are coming out of the music channel, which can be turned down - but nothing like before, just glorified sound effects that bear no relevance to what I'm currently doing.

I ask you why and how would I hear a female scream when I was in warp? And no, I had no slaves/exotic dancers in my cargo hold. It makes no sense, as detracts instead of adds to the gameplay.

On a more personal note on at least one occasion its the music of EvE that made me comeback - I was watching TV and heard a soundtrack just like Below the Asteroids, and I resubbed that same night.

--EDIT--

So I can set a jukebox shortcut key but it doesnt do anything - what the hell?

I actually now HAVE to go into my options and turn the music down to '0' to stop the background humming and creeking from going off all the time? That doesnt make any sense! If I wanted sound effects that surely that would fall under the World UI slider and not music?

><

--EDIT 2--

No slider on the chat windows - Absolute pain if I only wanted to scroll one or two lines up, why has such essential and basic functionality been taken away?

I've noticed that, after I lose my ship in PvP, I'll be prohibited from docking for 60 seconds even though I'm in a pod. I found this to be rather silly, since if I get podded, I'll end up in a station immediately (presumably - I haven't been podded on test server since crimewatch changes), completely ignoring the timer (and in real situations, I can expect a lot of people will intentionally get podded so they can get in a new ship faster).

So, unless I'm gonna be kicked out of the station after being podded without a chance to update my clone (which I don't think is gonna happen), this change is rather useless (it'll hardly increase number of poddings, unless I lose a ship inside a bubble while within dock/jump range) and it'll just force me to fly around in space like a headless chicken for 60 seconds.

Workarounds are not bugfixes.

Thoughts on the new FW NPCs. I'm in a well tanked MASB merlin fit; T2 Ion blasters with void, AB, MSE, Invuln field, DC II, field extenders, flying on behalf of the Caldari.

Frigates, unsurprisingly, fall over in a stiff breeze. I don't think they even got a chance to rep, but either way they're no challenge whatsoever. I also finished a site (a novice site, to be exact) and was surprised to see I didn't get any respawns. Perhaps this is just limited to novice, though. I didn't take the time to test other sites.

The cruisers found in medium sites are a fair bit more difficult. They rep for about 20-25% of their HP with somewhat random frequency...one was doing it every 5 seconds or so but only after he got low, another started repping almost right away, but only every ~10 seconds. Odd but there you go.

Tried to find a Large site but couldn't. I'm told they're pretty rare as it is, though. In any case, if the objective was to provide a largely trivial obstacle to active players, these new NPCs succeeded.

e: Ran across a member of the gallente militia who reported that the caldari cruisers, at least, were unkillable to his 130 DPS Firetail. I'm doing 175 DPS, so if the NPCs are meant to be identical, the required damage output is somewhere between those two numbers.

I did find a large site, though, and it's battlecruiser was unkillable to me. By the time I got back with a 3x neutron blaster/3x magstab fit (about 250 dps) they were dead though, so welp.

e: Found another large. The battlecruisers are definitely frigate proof, even my 250 DPS can't get through their tank.

Making Yourself Wanted:

...you can set a bounty on yourself...

I'm definitely certain this is an unintended consequence of the new bounty system...

This is going to be REAL fun, placing bounties on entire alliances...like, some recruit doesn't get into a corp, so he slaps a bounty across the entire alliance; that's real cute [/emote is being wildly sarcastic]

ORE Skill:

Shouldn't the ORE industrial skill which is required to pilot the Noctis also be applied to the Venture Mining Frigate? They're both ORE ships, and it seems to be a waste and a sign of inefficiency to train an entirely separate skill to command just one tiny mining frigate...but perhaps I'm looking at this from the perspective of already commanding an Orca...

Recommendations:

-enable ships wobbling in hangar view (pre-Captains Quarters)

-add more missions (NPC fleet vs. NPC fleets that actually shoot)

-STOP NERFING EVERYTHING!

The group weapons button should be where it is on TQ. I am looking at it at the moment. Please send a bugreport, if it is not working for you.
The readout lines are indeed overlapping the safety button, but it will not be changed as far as I know.

Well, strictly speaking, it ain't an industrial ship.
But I do see your point, having one skill for one ship twice in the ORE lineup is pretty meh.
Of course, people train for that one ship alone already, and the new frig makes sense in a way as a stepping stone for the previously tier3 barge, which is now finally no longer "if you can already fly it, just fly a hulk". In the tiericide context it makes sense.
But ofc, once again, training a new skill just for one hull again... meh, whatever, it's not like you need level 5 in it, so new players still have it better.

"We want PvE activities to require active participation and mirror PvP more closely." Stacking penalty for NPC EWAR then? Lock range under 9km from over 100 in a BS is not fun. Nor is two NPC web drones making me crawl 10m/s. PvP SW-900 x5: 75m/s.

Crimewatch oversight?

Context: Highsec

Condition:
1) I target a gate or station
2) I shoot it

Result:
Neither CONCORD or Faction police, or gate/station sentries engage me. No NPC or Weapons timer appears.

contrast that with:

Context Highsec or Lowsec

Condition:
1) I taget and shoot a CONCORD Billboard

Result:
I go Criminal (GCC). In lowsec, gate guns shoot me. If done in Highsec, CONCORD spawns and both them and gate guns explode my ship.

Summary: sit in highsec, shoot endlessly at stations or gates all day.
