Red Deer here. If the Calgarians and Edmontonions wanted to compromise, there are plenty of great places to meet in Red Deer. I'll watch this thread to see if anyone is interested...

Edmonton here. Been playing for a while. Cowtown is a bit far to go for an afternoon. But Red Deer is only an hour an a half from each city, so it is easy to get to. Really, we should all pick a date and meet up.

So funny story. At one point, there was a group of like 8 EvE players from Edmonton all in FA!
That was a long time ago now, although I think I recognize a few faces in this thread now.

Uggh, curse night shift! The black dog sounds great, but Saturdays are my only good night.
I'm obviously not the only person that would come, but If anyone wants to set something up for a Saturday, I'll definitely make it out.

Should be able to do this. Should we figure out a time. Haven't been to the Black Dog in years. Typically avoid White Ave these days. Will it be insanely busy and loud there on a Saturday. And how will we find each other?

I got a red minmatar shirt.

Depending on the prices at fanfest I might pick up one of those ship models. I do hope that an Edmonton/area/Alberta meet can be setup as a semi regular event so that model could be used as a visual marker in the future.

I posted a new thread for just this meet up. Post if you are going to be there so we can get some kind of count of the numbers we can expect.
