switching to windowed mode without being in game?

Hey guys,

I run a remote desktop service from my home computer to my laptop. I didn't realize that full screen apps don't work with RDP.

I just activated my account and did a clean install, and now that my settings are defualt, fullscreen is enabled.

Is there any sort of way I can edit some local file or something to change the game to run in windowed mode? I can boot the game, just it wont appear on screen, rendering my ability to play.

There has to be some sort of local file saved that i can't find that will allow me to adjust this.

Anyone have any solutions?

Already tried that. No such luck. Might have to just wait till i get home next weekend to switch it:(

Meh. VNC works fine fullscreen, but it certainly doesn't run Eve very fast.
Ok for remedial tasks but i wouldn't try pvping over it.

So apparently i fixed the issue. I was doing Alt Tab with the Keyboard. For some reason the game wasn't registering the input from my keyboard, but using Windows on screen computer to do the alt tab worked.

and yea it seems VNC system isn't the greatest, but ill mainly be doing trading(over VNC) so it wont be terrible.
