Hey GD,

There any way to see how many hours I've been logged onto an account?

Thanks,

Right now this is a service that we don't offer to players, it's just never been one that's been requested much before.

It does however sound like something perfect to add to CCP Soundwave's little things thread Blink

If you remember this was tried and hardly anyone liked it because it took up too much space on a 16:9 widescreen monitor. I think most asked for an option for any side but that was discounted as too complicated.

A good idea in theory but not so useful in practise, I wonder for instance how many players have their Neocom on the right or the HUD at the top. I’ve tried mine on the right and actually found it confusing and over complicated with the station services panel. But each to their own.

This.

If you use EveHQ, it has the login count and time ingame on the pilot data tab.
My main has logged in 2520 times and spent just over 201 days and 12 hours in game.

this isnt true actually.
the API can pull total time logged in. i know there's a site that pulls it for people if they put in their api and my corp has it as one of the stats on our corp overview.

EDIT: I see the site's already been linked above.

https://api.eveonline.com/account/AccountStatus.xml.aspx?keyID=YOURKEYID&vCode=YOURVCODE

Replace YOURKEYID and YOURVCODE with the appropriate values and just copy/paste the url into your browser's address bar.

The result is fairly self-explanatory: http://i.imgur.com/uKGVg.jpg

Yeah, I remember this.

I loved the idea, personally.

Also, regarding the API, our players surprise me more every day. Given the API isn't my specialty, I wasn't aware you could pull that data from it, that's awesome Big smileCool

Well I still want a bottom aligned neocom for the sake of it feeling like windows.

...WOAH

mindblown....

What if we started to consolidate things into a super window? Some amazing super customization modular system. Cause I just started thinking... one of the reasons why our neocom feels so full is because there are so many individual buttons and windows we can use, wallet, market, contracts, journal, people and places, assets....it's a lot of stuff and we use most of it daily. It clutters the neocom a bit when you use so many things at once... would it be possible to some how combine the market, contracts, item hanger and assets all into one awesome tool? maybe even throw in science and industry too

Things like the character sheet, corp management, journal, notepad and people and places can be another super tool

I need to login to see where other relationships can be drawn together but I think there is a possibility here to not only clean up the neocom but also streamline several processes.

Why do I feel the need to clean the neocom? Because imagine if the ONLY way to get to any program in windows was via it being pinned in the taskbar or using the startmenu, no desktop shortcuts....things would get kinda full wouldnt it? The neocom has that same sorta problem.

"Couldn't you make some custom neocom groups and call it a day?"
Yes, but what I've thought here is that there is real potential here for a true UI overhaul that will make the Unified Inventory look like a ****** baby (because it would both be small and even more ******** in comparison)

Steam says I've been logged in for 2910 Hours.

Which is 121 solid days.

17, whole weeks of continuous Eve Online. It's glorious.

I'm sure it's more than that. Because when I first started playing, I wasn't using Steam and I could easily have racked up another 1000 hours.

Some things are better left deep within the API, never to be seen by the masses of addicts.
