Facebook... I really hated it when CCP did the whole ship model contest through fb. I've been doing that stuff for years, but having a fb account for a submission means I need to become self-absorbed and talk of nothing but the meme factor like they all do there. Then the 99.8% of my obnoxious family will locate me and try to suck me into their insane trailer park drama. Friggin nuts.

Considering my family camps fb and it's games even more than government service lines now, keeps them almost too busy to hunt me down. So just the way things go, anon will find a way, then I'll need to change my phone number again Ugh

No anon, don't do iiiit! You'll unleash millions of bored self-absorbed fb peeps onto the rest of the interwebs, driving the rest of us back underground into the usenet.

meh. It's all fake. Even using their own names, they are not who they portray themselves to be. It's all shallow imo, where actual friends takes time investment, good times and bad, and not just someone to read your self-absorbed tales. Having five or six real friends is a handful, and worth more than 7billion fb "friends".

Can you blame them?

With games like dishonored, XCOM and all this other utter trash being released at a rapid pace.
Decent Games like Skyrim are releasing hollow short DLC at a snails pace.
Right now is not a great time to be a gamer.

There is nothing to do game wise. Except you know logging into eve and trying to find an alliance willing to accept you.


Edit:

People need to stop releasing games that I could easily emulate and play in my head while laying in bed. Most games are so simple and easy to memorize, the patterns of AI are too obvious and easy to manipulate. As an aspie its very hard to enjoy any game that dosent have some X-fact in it like other people playing it. Most games these days I can play through them once or twice and then be able to play the whole thing in my head which defeats the purpose of having the game installed.


Umm you can level to lvl 30 in Skyrim without being hit once, that's how dumb the AI is because the monsters attack the closest target and that's it. Set your difficulty to max and install a 32x difficulty mod on top of that. Once something farts on you, you die. You can even die if you run into a blacksmith sign. So I was playing a breton, summoning all these atronachs and fighting monsters for 5 minutes each until I realized "OMG THERE IS NO AI OMG". Uninstall.



I played skyrim for the same reason I played morrowind.

The story.

At the start of Bethesda games I give myself max skills and stats and then I just experience the game as a story. I don't really care for the combat because as you said the AI is terrible. The story is good, though nothing will ever be as good as morrowind. The environment is nice and I can always go to my home and have fully animated lesbian sex with my wife. So there is a sense of realism there.
