I know that most of the EU is enormous on America hating right now, but you guys would make yourselves look a lot smarter by trying to understand how complex and diverse we really are in the US. There's a huge portion of our population, myself included, that hate and have always hated from the founding of our country, the imperialism, predatory capitalism and ignorance that the rest of the world pins on us (Thomas Jefferson and Ben Franklin fall squarely in this category). I and everyone I know vote against those things every time. Don't ball us up into one giant stereotype and throw us all down the drain.

Without America WW2 in Europe would have ended exactly the way it did - with the USSR kicking Nazi Germany to the curb so hard that the rest of the allies scrambled to grab France before them.

The US is far less important on the grand scale than you think. Stalinism would have collapsed regardless.

Lend-lease was a little bonus. If you think that won WW2 you're goddamn fool. Look at that map and tell me the US had an important role with a straight face.

WRONG!!! USSR had all their own equipment, just not a lot of it to begin with, but by the end of the war, their arms production had far exceeded that of the USSR.

Seriously, go look up -

- T-26 and T-38 light tanks, T-24, T-28, T-34, and T-44 MBTs
- Illyushin fighter planes of WWII
- oh yeah, let's not forget the infamous Nagant rifles they used to get some of the highest sniper rates in WWII - far better riflemen than US troops for the simple fact that to defeat the germans, one rifle had to kill more than 30 enemy troops - and they came very close to that rate.

You need to learn some history, or at least defer to those who know it better instead of pretending like you know everything

The USSR produced 2-3 times the number of tanks, mortars, artillery, rifles, etc that the US did in WW2.

Yeah, Lend Lease mattered. Sure did. Yep.

USSR did reverse engineer a lot of things during the war, after all it was from supplying them better equipment and technology that they were able to make good things.

Not that I am discrediting their feats, to say that USSR did it all by themselves with no outside help is simply not true.
