I need a formula for ship velocity as a function of time during warp, which I can then integrate to get the time required to warp a given distance. I've narrowed down acceleration to something like (4e)^t, but I have no clue for the deceleration back to sub warp speed. any ideas?

I remember there was one that deciphered the physics in minute detail but I couldn't find the paper anymore. Never the less, let-me-google-that-for-you produced the following result:

It doesn't, because straightforward experimentation shows that its closer to 8.5 to accelerate, and upwards of 20 to slow down, but that dude is saying they're both 7.5
