First, i'm french canadian and my english-spoken-verbo-cerebral-tool is only tech 1 meta 3, maybe 4 :)

I have to admit, i'm a carebear!
A long time ago i used to be in a big alliance in nullsec doing campains, one after another. I know the lowsec/nullsec mecanic, pvp, capital, gank, camp, cyno bait whatever..
I quit EVE in 2009 after 4 years and came back 18 months later.
Now i'm a lowsec mission runner, who got gank Yesterday in a level 5 mission.
They had a fleet of 30 agains my two carriers and i died.

***
They try to sansom my pod.. sigh!
To the other like me who read this : NEVER PAY A RANSOM!!! EVER!!!
Much P'rats will try to but even if they got your money you'll have less than half the chance they will let you go!
***

24 hours later looking at the kill mail and the opposing fleet i regret.. a lot!!!
When the covert cyno tackler arrive I panic and try to refit carrier to run away. Felt my heart pumping loudly in my head as i was doing the WRONG thing the wrong way with shaking hands!
I had TWO carriers but have NOT fight back!
No fighters were deployed..
I could easely kill a few shiny ships before going down!
VERY easy kill for them..

My general problem in EVE is my attitude toward others cuz i never want to be a badass and kill people, P'rats or neutral, it doesn't make a difference.
Even if i have a chance to have an easy kill by defending myself, i prefer to run and dock or hide. Doing bad stuff to pelple, even to the ones who much deserve it is not an option for me.

Feel so horrible, so weak... Ashamed!
I will never run away again from agressives scumbags!
I burn my halo and from now on i will learn their way...

Maybe starting a corpses collection?!

1) Did you actually pay someone a ransom?
2) How did this turn into a WW2/Auto-erotic asphyxiation thread?
3) Refitting probably wasn't the best choice considering you could have dropped swarms of ECM drones on the initial tackle.
4) If you're running missions in lowsec and are worried about getting ganked, I would suggest Tier 3 BCs with logistics support.
5) EVE is a difficult game to play alone, you should find a corp that can back you up if you get into trouble.

Saucisse et biere. Sausage and Beer. That is an excellent corporation name. Please try to live up to that excellence.

Actually, we in France would say "Bière et saucisses".

"enjoyed les tears".
"The" can be translated in "le", "la", "l'" or "les". "Les" is the plural version. "La" is for the feminine gender. For example, in French a chair is a feminime word (and so Superchair is a giant pussy). "l'" stands for a "le" or "la" when it's before a vowel.

Example :
"I was cruising in the gallente highsec area when I saw a mackinaw in a belt. After destroying le ship, the (ex) pilot docked and began to complain in local. He told everyone that I was a griefer, disturbing l'industry that is building my own ships, and les tears became even worst when he spotted me salvaging la wreck."

If you're an AMERICA#1 YEAH, you may note that I used "le ship" instead of "la ship", because "ship" is translated as "vaisseau" which is a masculine word.

Now you can roam with style. Pirate

I may have lost it at the "AMERICA#1 YEAH comment and peed a little. +1 to you sir.

Also, for all the trolling, I do have to give props to the OP. Despite losing two carriers and making an interesting post he seems to have taken the loss in good stride and is willing to learn. Always respect for bears who take ganking well.
